West Belfast boy waiting on heart transplant wins Heart Hero award

A West Belfast boy waiting on a heart transplant has won a top award in London over the weekend. Dáithí Mac Gabhann was born with congenital heart defect Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and has undergone major surgery but now needs a heart transplant. On Friday night was presented with the Mark Lynn Young Heart Hero award by the British Heart Foundation (BHF) at a ceremony at Shakespeare’s Globe theatre. Full Story Here
