Tommy McCarthy ‘proud’ to promote Belfast boy’s campaign to get new heart

Young West Belfast boy Dáithí Mac Gabhann is the epitome of a fighter. The four-year-old has been waiting on the gift of a new heart for almost three years. The Donate4Dáithí campaign, set up by his parents Máirtín and Seph Ní Mhealláin, has helped keep the conversation around organ donation at the forefront of people’s minds. Belfast boxer Tommy McCarthy is a family friend, and he will carry the name, and inspiration, of young Dáithí into the ring with him this weekend. Full Story Here
