Dáithí launches Defib in Turf Lodhe

We had the pleasure today to launch a new defibrillator in Turf Lodge (west Belfast), thanks to the British Heart Foundation and their Community Defibrillator Funding Programme. Big shoutout to Councillor Michael Donnelly for making it happen and Crawford’s Spar for providing the electricity.

All we did was pass on a message—and now there’s a lifesaving piece of equipment in the area. That’s the power of just sharing something and keeping the conversation going – just like spreading the message of #OrganDonation. Awareness can save lives!

The Community Defibrillator Funding Programme is expected to open again in Summer 2025. Keep an eye out to see how you can help bring more defibs to your area.
