Dáithí leads fun run as part of west Belfast festival

Young Dáithí Mac Gabhann led those running and strolling through west Belfast on Friday as part of an annual fun run. The Upper Springfield Fun Day at Falls Park took place as part of the Féile an Phobail. It included the Falls Park Fun Run. Dáithí Dáithí, from Ballymurphy, was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and has been waiting for a transplant since 2018. His family successfully campaigned for a change in the law that allowed organ donations unless the deceased has specifically recorded it should not happen, or a next of kin objects. Read More
