BBC programme to give insight into life of ‘heart hero’ Dáithí Mac Gábhann

A new BBC documentary airing on Monday will give an insight into the life of Dáithí Mac Gabhann – West Belfast’s ‘heart hero’. The Ballymurphy tot is currently on the routine waiting list for a heart transplant after being born with a very rare condition known as hypoplastic left heart syndrome . Croí Briste, meaning Broken Heart in Irish, is a new 30-minute observational documentary which highlights the issue of organ donation through the story of the three-year-old Belfast boy.
