DÁITHÍ’S LAW: Soft Opt-Out Organ Donation Delivered

“Dáithí’s Law” has passed its final hurdle in the Stormont Assembly today (Tuesday).

The change in organ donation legislation in Northern Ireland is now to be named after five-year-old boy Dáithí’ Mac Gabhann.

He was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome and has been on a waiting list for most of his life.

He has been the face of ‘Donate 4 Dáithí’ which has campaigned for a change in NI’s legislation. Full Story
