Delight for Dáithí Mac Gabhann as he’s back on heart transplant waiting list
The family of Dáithí Mac Gabhann have confirmed that he has been placed back on the heart transplant waiting list.
The six-year-old from Ballymurphy, who inspired a change in the organ donation laws in Northern Ireland, was “temporarily suspended” from the list in June due to his health.
Daithi, who has been on the waiting list for a heart transplant for five years, recently travelled to Newcastle for cardiac surgery to allow him to get back on the waiting list. Read More
