Organ Donation Week prompts West Belfast family to organise host of events

A West Belfast family has unveiled a new mural to raise awareness for Organ Donation Week. Máirtín MacGabhann and his partner Seph Ni Mhealláin’s world was turned upside down when their son Dáithí was born with congenital heart defect Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. In January they were told their son, who is now 22 months, needs a new heart and since then the Ballymurphy dad has been on a mission to get as many people as he can to become organ donors.
