Ballymurphy tot Dáithí Mac Gabhann asks Santa for a new heart as his parents continue to campaign for awareness

Most children are asking Santa for LOL Dolls and funky gadgets this year – but little Dáithí Mac Gabhann has put a new heart on his Christmas list as the youngster awaits a transplant. Last week the three-year-old posted a letter to Permanent Secretary Richard Pengelly to consider the introduction of a ‘soft opt-out’ system, which received cross-community support from party leaders. Mum Seph told Belfast Live that the issue of organ donation is “not political” and that they are appreciative of the support they have received throughout their campaign. Full Story Here
