Father of Dáithí Mac Gabhann says ‘our fight is far from over’ as family mark 2,000 days on transplant list
The fight to normalise paediatric organ donation in Northern Ireland is far from over, the father of seven-year-old Dáithí Mac Gabhann has said.
Dáithí has been battling Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) since birth and is increasingly reliant on a wheelchair and oxygen as his wait for a heart transplant donor continues.
